Sophie So Fine

In Memory of Our little Sophie Bear....We picked the breed out of a book through deduction, to fit our lifestyle. Little did we know how hard we would fall for this little girl and how much love she would bring into our lives.

She was a couch potato when you wanted to relax; or she would hike a mountain and take it upon herself to pull you up the final stretch if need be. She knew many obedience commands and had a bag of tricks that would convert any cat lover. Her showstopper trick was she could say "Momma" and it took over two years to teach her this-every morning, we would work on this for a treat before I left for work. I had everyone so sick of hearing the growling attempts, that it was common to hear..."just give up all ready!" She loved to try and I loved a challenge...so we pursued.

Her expressive ears and adoring looks in the car would just melt your heart. Just thinking of her brings a smile to my face, and all her quirky ways. When dad got home from work the whole neighborhood knew it. You would think she was fatally wounded by the sounds that came out of her, in her excitement. He was always so embarrassed by this... and it is now, what we miss most.

She quickly became my photography muse...and my foundation for finding my passion in life... training a dog with positive reinforcement.

Sophie was our kid, constant companion and will be forever missed.
