Ruby took over our life on 3rd October 2011 and nothing will ever be the same. Ruby is very clever and loves nothing more than to see how high she can throw her toys in the air. Unfortunately this resulted in a slight mishap when her favourite toy landed on the couch and her unexpected attempt to retrieve it was unsuccessful. After many tears (ours not hers) the vet put a splint on her leg (see pic), but this hasn't stopped her or slowed her down. Ruby also loves to try and catch butterflies (unsuccessful so far) and is an avid watcher of cats and birds.

Ruby doesn't bark unless she is very frustrated which is usually the case when she is kept waiting for her dinner whilst we eat ours, something that doesn't please her at all. What does please her is when she gets away with something e.g discovering her toy box in another room and proceeding to transport all her toys one by one to the lounge room for when she is ready to play with them.

Ruby is looking forward to many years of long walks and lots of playing and making new friends.
