Champion Schnauzers Paycheck and Hotshot

My first Miniature Schnauzer breeder became my mentor and for the next 2 years, I learned everything about them and began showing dogs.

The above picture is Canadian Champions Paycheck and her daughter Hotshot who won 27 Best Brace in Show, defeating over 30 entries three straight days.

Brace events at dog shows: This is when two dogs of the same breed and exact same ownership being shown together as a pair in order to display the breeder's consistency in their breeding program. Dogs selected to be shown in a brace should display the same attributes, virtues, style and type. The dogs enter the ring side by side and are judged on basic conformation, movement and their ability to interact as a pair.
