I would like to introduce you to Macy and Maddie our beautiful black mini's. Macy our one and a half year old is full of energy and loves to play. My husband and I felt the best way to fullfill Macy's life was to find her a sister. After all two children are always better than one. We began our search for the newest member of our family. Last week we met Maddie. At 10 weeks old and weighing in at 4lbs little Maddie melted our hearts, she was perfect. Maddie looked identical to Macy when she was a baby. Maddie made the trip back to her new home in Paulding, Ohio. It wasn't love at first bark or growl but we knew they would warm up to each other soon. After a few snarls and sniffs Macy and Maddie were on their way to sisterhood. The first night Maddie found her way into Macy's bed. Macy sat in the chair above Maddie, keeping a very close eye on her as she napped.
Macy has taught her baby sister to go up and down the stairs and play tug of war with her favorite toy. In fact Macy will take the toy to Maddie and lay it in front of her when she's ready to play. Maddie follows her big sister everywhere and has learned very quickly where the treat jar is located. The two of them are a joy to watch and they seem so happy. Schnauzers are very intelligent and have human like personalities. Our family is complete and we're looking forward to many years of happiness with Macy and Maddie.
