I know real love now

This story begins on craigs list. I was not looking for a dog, but I found one! I called the number in the ad and a young girl described this schnauzer that was free. I never would have dreamed that this dog would be so difficult When we went to see him, he ran straight to us as if in a desperate attempt to get away from where he was. We had no idea at the time the extent of the damage, both emotional & physical, to this dog. It was a rough 6 months and he bit me, drew blood and broke my nail under the skin, OUCH! When we bathed him he snapped and growled. That's when the truth came out.

Baron (his name) had been hurt by some idiot and his shoulder was dented in badly. On further inspection we found the most horrifying signs of abuse… someone had poured hot liquid down his back and he is scarred on his sides where the hot liquid ran off his back. I promised Baron that this was his FOREVER home and he agreed.

Now, almost 2 yrs later Baron sleeps with us, he gets on the bed and turns his back to me for his nitely massage. Baron shows love & appreciation every day! We adore him and could not imagine our lives without him. We donate items to our local Humane Society Thrift store in honor of Baron. Maybe he can help other animals from a life of torture & neglect. Won't you help too?
