My friend Carole lived alone. I had Schnauzers and she fell in love with mine! I found a local woman, who had a whoops litter, and purchased a male schnauzer for Carole. Brought the pup home, groomed it, brought it over, it was love at first sight! About a year later (3 months after I lost my Jocco, a mini schnauzer) the same woman contacted me, with another whoops! I got another male schnauzer. My first was Jocco, Carole named hers Jocco 2 and my new pup was Jocco 3. They are best friends, and then about 5 years ago Carole relocated to North Carolina. I do not fly to florida now, I drive my Jocco to NC to visit his brother, and the intelligence is amazing, all I say is "want to go see Carole" and he is jumping at the door, then right to the car for the 7.5 hour ride. It is like they never were apart and Jocco 2 is always so happy to see Jocco 3 and especially me. I will never own another breed, they are the best companions ever! Jocco 3 spends his days here in NJ aside my 87 year old Aunt, whose husband passed last November. Every morning he goes there after breakfast and sits by her side all day. Best companion ever!
