A home for my Polliana

I would take my schnauzer Trixie to work with me. One day a customer asked if I'd like another. She spoke of her neighbors schnauzer kept outdoors matted, starved, no water, no human touch. So I said yes ill take her. She was invested with fleas, worms, matted hair and a broken leg. When I got her I cried how could someone do this. I drove straight to the vet had her treated and groomed and was told she was pregnant. One habit she broke was digging in garbage, but in her previous life that was survival for her. She finally realized she had food water treats a home with love. She never barked. I thought she couldn't. When she gave birth, she was the best mom ever. Long story short. My Pollie was the best she gave so much love the 16 years I had her. She has crossed over the rainbow Bridge along with Trixe. I have her two babies that are now 14 years. She was loved and spoiled something she deserved. I am so thankful for choosing to rescue. I treasure those memories.
