Mini Schnauzer Winston in Texas Bluebonnets

Winston was the Mini Schnauzer I have been wanting for years, but with 3 cats in our house and the Schnauzer's high prey drive... needless to say, it was very difficult.

My husband and I strongly believe in rescues and one day in December 2011, he came across Winston at an adoption weekend @ PetSmart. I refused to go in because of my quick attachment, but he insisted I see this perfect dog. Well, that was it! I was hooked. Winston won us over immediately! He's a lover and wow is he good with our 5 year old (TJ). TJ is a football player and Winston is a great tackler! Winston was potty trained, house trained and great w/ the family immediately. With only 1 kitty left (Lina... and no, the others are not victim to his high prey drive, just old age) they are not best of buds yet, but he's trying his hardest to win her over.

He is truly an angel.

Thank God for Winston!!!!
