Mini Schnauzer Penny Elliot

Miss Penny came to be with Max, a 5 year old black and silver mini on February 2011. She is pretty petite at 12 lb to his 20 lb but they romp and rip and play very well together.

Max was pretty lonesome after we lost Gus in 2010 to lymphoma cancer. I had decided that Max made a wonderful single dog, but he missed his Gussie. That's when we found and rescued Penny.

Penny was living with an elderly couple and while they didn't abuse her, she was being neglected and was not house trained. She is a product of a puppy mill so I don't know what kind of health issues we will have in the future but she is such a loving, cuddly little girl. She still has lots of energy and is now house trained.

We discovered Penny's birth date was the same birthday as Gus... seems like things were kind of plotted against us and so now Max and Penny are best buds. She and Max have been wonderful blessings in my life.

Hi your Penneys looks like our Miya and we live in Nebraska as well Bellevue We lost our Mckenzzie last April she would have been 13 yrs old We got Mattie as a puppy at 4 months old and then we lost our rottweiler Haley 3 months after mckenzzie passed so we were looking for a black minature schnauzer without her ears being croped and we went on a waiting list so one day in June the place called us and we picked Miya up she was almost 6 weeks old just love her to death she and mattie just love each other and always together I love schnauzers !! Thank you for sharing your story and have fun with them as mattie and mckenzzie would say aroo to Penny!
