Our little man Colin

No words to describe the utter devastation we feel with our loss, Colin was only 8 far to soon taken from us, took him to the vet because he wasn't eating, thought it was just stomach upset, vet kept him in and said to pick him up the next day got a phone call in the evening to say that he had cancer and to come and say our goodbyes , put him to sleep the next morning, still in shock cannot stop crying.

My schnauzer went too soon too

My little Murphy died in his sleep last night, I found him this morn in his bed. Did your dog seem fine apart from the eating? Murphy was totally fine until Saturday when he stopped eating, we thought stomach upset like you and I woke today to take him to the vets but I was too late. What kind of cancer did your dog have?

I lost my 13 yr old schnauzer to cancer this week. I cant stop crying either. I have euthanasia guilt.its awful..

Sad. Please accept my condolences.
These should be eye openers for those who cry animal research is not needed. Veterinary medicine doesn't come from nothing. Animals, more importantly our pets, also could suffer the same diseases that plague humans. We need to find cure; putting down animals may be an "easy" solution but until the time that animals could be treated with care and dedication, we are left with poor choices.
