Our darling Oskar

OSKAR

Our beautiful boy, Oskar, was born on 1st October 2000. It was the same day of the closing ceremony of the Sydney Olympics.

He arrived in our home at eight weeks of age and lit up our lives for the next 13 years and 7 months. He was the most beautiful silvery pepper and salt Mini Schnauzer and we adored him. He was the best little friend anyone could have. He filled our lives with fun, hope and purpose.

After a lifetime of great health, this time last year Oskar started showing sudden alarming signs that something was seriously wrong. After an expert diagnosis, we had to make the agonizing decision to prevent him from further suffering. Oskar was sent back to Heaven on 1st May 2014. He will be forever loved and missed.

What a beautiful boy! I recently lost my good boy Joey and have struggled daily. It helps to know that there are others who know how you feel. Mini schuanzers are the best little friends! I will miss mine forever, know you will too. Sending peace to you in the loss of your beautiful boy Oskar.

Heart Dogs

I don't know which it is, that Oskar got your heart or you got his, I am sure it's some of both, but there are those dogs that just grab ahold of us and won't let go. I know he will be waiting for you with some new fun and games just over the Rainbow Bridge.
