Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

My Schnauzer really likes these oatmeal peanut butter cookies. An easy and nutritional dog treat recipe!





Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup of quick oats
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup of peanut butter


    • Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl, first. (flour, oats, baking powder, and baking soda)

    In a separate bowl mix the other ingredients (honey, shortening, egg, and peanut butter)

    Then combine the ingredients from both bowls together. Stir together about 50 strokes. Drop teaspoon size amounts onto a cookie sheet.

    Bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes. Let cool before serving to your dog. Store the remaining cookies in a ziploc bag and keep in the refrigerator or freezer.
