Nora

Nora is the second Miniature Schnauzer in our family. Her older brother Theo joined our family in October 2010 and she joined our family a year later in October of 2011.

Our first Miniature Schnauzer Theo we chose for his high energy and playfulness. When I say high energy I mean HIGH! When choosing Nora we chose for calmness and gentleness. She embodies this perfectly (except for when playing with her big brother Theo).

She is a real lover; she loves to snuggle, loves to meet new people and dogs, love to chase squirrels and LOVES to eat.

One thing that makes Nora special is her lack of, well... awareness. She runs into EVERYTHING. People, buildings, walls, windows, doors, etc. She just is so singularly focused that our precious girl just doesn't get it sometimes.

She also won't lay down on command. For anything. We have worked for a hours trying to convince her into a 'down' and she just doesn't get it. She does sit, stay, wait, crate, get it, and handshake but just can't understand how to lay down on command. We love our Nora girl!
