My Roxie

Roxie came into my life when we both needed each other the most. I adopted her at the age of 3 from a family that had 2 other dogs and she just wasn't happy. She didn't get enough attention there and the other dogs wouldn't even let her play with toys.

Roxie is not your average looking mini. She is solid white with stand-up ears. As soon as I brought her home I trimmed off her beard. She now is cut to resemble a Westie. Most people, including groomers, think she is a Westie because they have never seen a solid white Mini.

Contrary to what some of these postings here say, my Roxie is very talkative. When she runs outside for play or potty time the first thing she does is announce to the neighborhood that she is outside and waits to hear if anyone answers. If she gets an answer....oh boy!!!

Since adopting Roxie she has accumulated quite a collection of squeaky toys that she can shake! She loves them all! She lives with 3 cats now and I think she has started to believe she is part kitty. She does quite a few things that are cat-like.

Here is a picture of Roxie in her Halloween costume. This is the one time she has a tail! :-)
I love Roxie with all my heart and I can't imagine my life without her!!

I like you have my Ghost who is also a white mini. He is not a talker like my Gnat, but he is full of himself, he does so many goofey things that now I call him Goofey Ghost. His hair is like silk and he slides off every thing and any thing. He is now one year old & have had a birthday party for him & his friends, they had a ball. Good luck & many happy days with your Roxie.

She is very cute! One of our schnauzers, Zeke, likes to announce his presence when we let him outside. He prances around with his head up high just letting out a bark every few seconds. Out of the four schnauzers I have had in my life he is the only one that I have seen do this. Usually it is the constant alarm bark at anything they see. Thanks for sharing the cute picture!

she is definitely a mini!
see my tribute to my good boy "casper"

the white mini's are recessive gene dominant
and NOT from crossing anything into mini's

if you look at casper's pictures ,you can see how
wonderful white mini's look when groomed as mini's;

best of luck with her,she's adorable;
