My Best Friend Nova

Yesterday I lost my very best friend. My wife and I had the gift of sharing the last 10 years our lives with this beautiful dog. It made me sad to think of how much weight our dog had lost within the last 2 years due to issues with her Kidneys and other complications. You know the day will come and you never expect it to happen as soon as it does. She became very sick and would reject things she loved such as treats, walks and food. We will miss her very much. My heart hurts and I somehow continue to find ways of remembering how good she was to us. She got us through so many things and it's hard to accept the fact that she will no longer be walking down the hallway or barking at random moments. Our hears are broken and we sympathize with anyone who has lost their best friend.

So Sorry

We lost our little girl, Missy Lady,to Lymphoma on January 26. She was with us for a little over 13 years. Like your Nova she stopped eating and playing. I still wake and think that i hear her at night and during the day reach for her food or leash. It is with a broken heart that we say goodbye to our best friend. I hold the promise of seeing her again when it is my time to cross the rainbow bridge.

So sorry you lost your baby! I lost my Henry in September and was in mourning for months. But in April I got a new baby called Sammy... so different but very special and lovable! Heal and see where it goes!
