We lost our sweet Laci to congestive heart failure on Sunday February 8th 2015, she was almost 11. I'm so heartbroken and she took a big part of ny heart with her. I know she's in a better place with family and her cousin doggies. She was so loyal and took care of me in my most terrible time in life, when I had no one else.

I love her more than anyone or anything in this world. I miss her so so much and cry non-stop and I have her ashes and stuffed animals surrounding her in her favorite puppy bed. She loved going to the beach, camping and hiking.

I will never forget her and all the fun and joy she gave me. It's amazing how they love us unconditionally.

I LOVE YOU LACI, forever and ever.

I Lost my Little Girl Schnauzer missy from Heart Failure when she was 6, you can never get over the Loss but you will never forget the Joy you both had during the all too short time you were together. cherish the Memories you have until you are reunited someday..

Took my breath away

I'm so very sorry for your loss. I had to catch my breath while reading your story. My schnauzer Arrow♡ boy has been gone for a year & three months now.....he made it to 14 1/2 years. Not a day goes by that I don't ache for him. Sending you love & wishing you peace from within.... ♡

You all are so kind, with your loving words. It makes me feel good to share with all of you Schnauzer moms and dads.. I miss her so much and I'm trying to override the sadness and focus on all the fun and funny times we had. I used to drive home for lunch everyday to see her. I still have the all out gut wrenching crying. I know she's looking down on me giving me loves and kisses and telling me to not be sad. Again thank you for your support, I'm sure I will be looking for more support for my loss of Laci.

I'm so sorry you lost your little girl. It is heartbreaking to be without them after having them in our lives for such a long time. My heart goes out to you. It's been 3 weeks since my 15 year old Zachary died. I know it will get better but I also know I will ALWAYS miss him. Again, I'm so sorry.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I really am. Schnauzers are the most amazing dogs ... they fill a place in your heart like no other. I wish you eventual peace as you come to terms with your loss. I lost my Banjo nearly a year ago. I did buy another puppy soon after as my heart was so broken. My little Cookie will be a year old next month and she also has a relatively new companion, Romeo. They are the best of friends and I love them both so much. They sleep with me and the cuddles in the morning are so heart warming. Blessings to you. I hope you'll be okay.

There are no words that can comfort the lose of such a beloved, loyal baby it's all very understanding the way you must feel now, with time it will ease but, never forgotten. I am sure your lovely Laci is playing around like a little angel in Rainbow Bridge and looking over you as loyal as always. It makes me sad only to think that one day it will happen to me again and it breaks my heart into pieces but, I think of the most lovely times we have and that's what you should always keep in mind the good and loving times and that she was loved more than anything in this world which I'm sure she knew that. RIP Laci

My heart breaks for you, too... and like the other people here, I've been through this loss with my little Schnauzer-baby, Fluffy. She was 9.5 years old and was the love of my life. I grieved for a very long time before I could afford to give a home to another little dog. It was the hardest 2.5 years of my life before my little Pomeranian, Foxy came into my life. She has been a God-send and has helped immensely with healing my heart. I wanted another Schnauzer but adopted Foxy from a rescue and have never looked back. I say that we rescued each other. I will echo someone elses' thoughts... give yourself a little time to open your heart, then adopt another one to bring into your life and heart. I'm sure that you have much love to give to another little one!

Sweetie,

I have lost 3 schnauzers and it never gets easier. My BFF schnauzer, Chan"tilly" passed away in 2010 and I still miss her! However, before she crossed over to that rainbow bridge, I went and rescued a baby schnauzer. Ellanore is nothing like Tilly, but she did help me heal.

My wish for you is one day to find a tiny little area in your heart for another schnauzer when you are ready.

Dear Michelle, I'm so very sorry for your loss. Laci sounds like she was a true friend to you. I share in your loss also because I too had to say farewell to my sweet schnauzer buddy in December. Our Petey was very special too. I still cry. They bring so much joy into our lives that nothing is the same when they leave us. There is nothing on earth that compares to their love and loyalty. Our Libby

We just had to put our 14 yr old girl Libby to rest on Sunday. She was in kidney failure and couldn't be saved. She was the best of everything a Schaunzer could be. Loyal, loving, playful, stubborn, protective, nurturing and of course, demanding. She loved to camp, take walks (looking for chippies and take car rides. Her and her sibling by another litter, Lucy, would be in our fron window guarding the house. (We lost Lucy to Cancer a year ago.) Libby (or "Libzilla") was a slob when it came to eating, clanking her dishes and nosing through her food. We miss her and Lucy awful. First time our house has not had a puppy in 25 years.

I am so sorry, I just lost my Schnauzer girl, her name was Shiraz and I know how the deep the pain is. They become part of your heart, and your soul. I still cry for her. I hope your heart, and mine as well can heal over time. I've had the privilege of being a Mom to Shiraz for 12 years and I loved every day of it. Thinking of you, know you're not alone.
