Tiberius was just a black puppy when we got him 14 years ago. He had our hearts right away. So smart and wanted to please us. He survived parvo after exposure to another puppy. He was tough, growing into a BIG 24 lb Mini. We had great times together, at home, on trips. He would often come with me to work at the office at night, lying in his favorite position on his tummy, like flying Superman.
Tiberius developed a tumor last year just behind his left eye. The vet said we could operate with no guarantees, or we could put him on meds until the end. We took him home, gave him meds, and had another wonderful year with him. We had to help him go to sleep two days ago...it was finally time, and he let us know it. He took a final walk around his back yard before we left for the vet. He went to sleep in that Superman position. He is buried in his backyard now, under his favorite tree. Can’t wait to meet up again at Rainbow Bridge!
