Miniature Schnauzer Drover
We are Drover's second and forever home. His first owner became very ill and surrendered Drover and another dog to foster care. He came to us four years ago, confused about what was happening. He had been to the vet, the groomer, a foster home and finally to our home all in about a 24 hour period. And then we changed his name to add to the confusion.
He was very adaptable and our other Mini Schnauzer(Zoe) became his playmate. They would "fight" and wrestle and make lots of noise. It sounds terrible but neither have ever hurt the other.
Drover quickly became my boy. He sticks by me whatever I am doing. He also likes to be with me on the sofa, left side, thank you. I don't doubt that if we ever had an intruder, Drover would defend me.
Drover has a special "talent". He can quietly mouth a toy or ball. When he is finished the toy or ball will have a hole in it. We have to watch him so that the playthings don't get destroyed in his super secret way!
Mini Schnauzers are such fun dogs! I recommend having several!
