Miniature Schnauzer Barking Barking Barking!

I can't get my Mini Schnauzer to stop barking outside. When I come home from work I let her out and then I feed her and let her stay out for a while more, but she just barks out there. I have work to do when I come home so I can't have her up under my feet.

Suggestions?

Just wanted to post a quick thank you for your comments. Anna i've been taking my mini for a walk every nite and it has actually helped her. Haven't tried the no bark collar yet, don't even know if i'll need it now. thanks again!

No bark collar

Hi Tonya,

Believe me, with 7 Schnauzers, I know exactly how you feel.

I bought the Citronella No Bark Collars and they work real good with mine. It can't hurt them but they hate the smell that it sprays under their chin. Mine hate it so much, that I don't even have to turn the collar on half the time. Give it a try, they work great.

I know how you feel, I have little time, but I have learned to take 15 or 20 minutes at least twice a day and walk mine. It not only drains some of their energy but REALLY helps me de-stress from work and helps me physically too. You might try that to help your barker. Good luck.
