Meet Miss Evie T!
by Evie as told to Phyllis
Two of my favorite things
Hi! I am Miss Evie T; Evie for short, unless I steal one of Mom's socks! Then she calls me T. Mom says the "T" stands for Trouble, but I prefer to believe it stands for Terrific. Mom brought me home last year just after Thanksgiving. I am 14 months old now.
It's really cool living with Mom & Dad. I am well fed, well groomed, and most importantly, well loved. I have all sorts of toys, but my favorite is my tennis balls. I can play ball all day, but I bring all my toys to Mom in case her arm gets tired of throwing. Dad says she is older than dirt. I don't know what that means, but I am happy to play tug of war if mom gets tired of throwing my ball.
I love travel. I can be pretty hyper, but car rides relax me. I have been from California to Kentucky, and lots of places in between. Recently we visited the new dog park in our community here in Az. It was my first time going to any dog park. I have to admit I was nervous and a bit timid. Then there was a pack of bully chihuahuas who just wanted to chase me. But they soon found out there was no way they were going to ever catch me; I am very fast. Then my Mom stood between me (I might have been hiding behind her) and those bullies until they backed off. Mom said we will try again another day when the gang of nasty chihuahuas aren't there.
Well Mom is calling me for dinner now. I might like eating even more than playing ball!
ps: I hope you have enjoyed Evie's story. She is a parti-color schnauzer and our first schnauzer. She makes us laugh every day and the light of our lives.
