Lily

Lily is 2 years old (born 1/9/10) & was adopted on 10/26/10 from Clarksville-Montgomery County Humane Society after the loss of our other mini Schnauzer, Holly. We found Lily (then named Zoe) on PetFinder within a few hours after she was posted by her foster Mom, Ginger. It was love at first sight! We called about her the following morning, filled out an application, had our references (personal & vet) checked and brought her home within 4 days! As soon as she came into our home, she acted as though she had always been with us! Her BFF is our neighbor's Jack Russell, Maggie, who is exactly one month older. They meet every afternoon for a play date.

Lily is very social & loves everyone she meets! Although she's a "Daddy's girl", she does give "Mommy" a little snuggle time, too. She LOVES playing with any toy and has yet to tear them up. She has become so spoiled that when we come in from the store & have bags, she will go through them to see if there is something for her.

She will NOT potty in the house. She'll even wake us in the middle of the night to go outside. Even though she is this good, there is a naughty side. She HATES to have her toenails cut. It takes her "Daddy" & I both!

Lily enjoys being outside & will turn anything into a toy, including sticks, pine cones, leaves, etc. She & the calves on the joining property will play through the fence. She's definitely a loving life! Lily is also on Dogster and can be found at: http://www.dogster.com/dogs/1163741
