Schnauzer Maisie

Miniature Schnauzer Maisie is eight months old in this picture. We bought her on a cold wintery night about an hour from home. I begged the lady to let us come look at her at 10:00 p.m. When I walked in and saw her in the playpen she was so adorable! I couldn't resist. We wrapped her up and took her home. It took a few days for her to come out of her shell, but she fits in perfectly with Hunter, our 11 year old shepard lab mix and the two cats. In fact Spirit, a year old black cat, and her are the best of friends.

Maisie loves playing "dolf" in the backyard with Daddy. He uses his cane to golf the ball across the yard. She is quite the lil fetcher! Balls have become her favorite toys, she will do anything to get you to toss one. Dropping the ball at your feet, trying to put it in your lap and even rolling over and over to get your attention. She is also so cuddly at night, curling up in the bed by your knees and snuggles in.

I cant tell you how much joy and love she has brought into our home. Our 17 year old daughter gives her baths and always is putting a bow in her hair when we go out for walks. Cant imagine a life without Maisie!
