Harley Davidson will be 7 years old in June and has been a Therapy Dog for 4.5 years. He currently visits 2 hospitals and 2 schools. At one school he has been working with 4 emotionally disturbed children and I am amazed at how he works with these children.
Harley enjoys being just a normal pup when he is at home with his big sister, Sophie Claire, who is a German Shorthaired Pointer. People ask how we got into this type of volunteerism and I just point to Harley D. He is comfortable in any venue and sometimes when we come home, he is exhausted. Not only does in absorb a lot of emotion but he gives of himself. He is an amazing little schnauzer boy!
