I held her in my arms and cried as her breathing stopped and the shine went from her eyes. I had tried for weeks to help her get better, to save her life as she had saved mine.

Cricket came to me when I was in to my fifth month of surgeries and having pain and chemo. This little girl went to hospital and doctor appointments and made me get up to face life ever day. Once when I had passed out from pain and fallen, she pressed my med alert button to get help. Another time I was just home from chemo and she insisted I not go in house..... I did anyway to find and got smoke inhalation, the furnace was on fire.

I so miss this little girl. I was unable to save her life, but I am here today because she saved mine.

Sweet Cricket

We are so sorry for the loss of your beautiful girl Cricket. We understand your pain, as we are heartbroken over the sudden loss of our sweet girl Lola. She was so full of life and then she just collapsed. We are devastated!

Cricket was there for you, taking care of you always. She is so special and is watching over you still. We will be together again with these little angels. They were precious gifts to us. Hugs and prayers.

I feel your loss and pain , I lost my schnauzer sissy in march of this year to liver failure at 6 yrs. old she was the love of my life , she went everywhere with me the excitement in her eyes when we were together , she was my confidant , my best friend and when she passed a piece of me died with her , she would stay up and wait for me to get home from work at midnight with here wiggely tail to greet me , I miss her everyday , I hope that she crosses the rainbow bridge to meet me at the end.

Cricket was an amazing friend in your time of need and I know there are no words to ease your suffering at this time. You WERE there for Cricket when it was her time. You made her passing peaceful and she went forward without fear because you were there to ease her from this life to the next. You have my prayers and condolences.

Mary,ASn she passed and it was her time. You didn't "not save her life"! You both were blessed to have each other and I know she wouldn't have it any other way! Pay attention in your quiet times...she will visit you. Don't be scared if you feel her walking on your bed or hear her. A dog like Cricket will keep tabs on you! And you will hold her once again...when its your time. ;)

I am so sorry for your loss. I just lost my beloved Cosmo 11/28/14 & am still crying everyday. Schnauzers are little angels that touch our hearts so deeply that when they cross over the grief is so hard to bear. Find peace in knowing she will be waiting for you in heaven & you will be reunited again. My heart goes out to you & all schnauzer mom & dad's that lost their little angels.
