Cosby: The Little Mini Schnauzer That Could... (Tribute Video)

Cosby

Cosby

Cosby was humanlike. We did it all, conquered it all together. He never barked, followed me everywhere, did multiple tricks, and understood dozens of words. We discovered hiking together, and both enjoyed exploring the outdoors weekly. Here is my tribute to the best dog I've ever known:

Heartbroken
by: Mandy

I understand the loss you must feel. This was a really cool way to celebrate Cosby's life. Your photos were very touching. The songs were so heartfelt. I am still crying as I write this. I lost both my minis in 2018. I was devastated, but I moved on. I wish I would have been able to do something like this for them. You were both truly blessed to have each other. My sincerest condolences to you and each life Cosby touched. He was simply amazing.

Cosby was a blessed little Schnauzer and you were a blessed man for being allowed to spend his lifetime with you. He will always be safe and secure in your heart. He is not far, just a heartbeat away. I have been where you are now.

Wonderful
by: Marisa

A very fitting tribute, in which we can see what the two of you were to each other. My heart goes out to you in your loss, which is too big for words. These dogs give us everything they have to give, and in some cases it gets down to giving us the strength to go on when life is really really hard. A best friend can't give more than that. When we lose one, it feels as if the world can't see and nobody really understands what we've lost. Your tribute says it all...and there are so many of us who DO understand. He was a beautiful friend, and I know he will stay in your heart and soul forever. Let the love you shared and the understanding of others carry you through your time of grief. You did him proud!

Response to Traveling w/ Cosby
by: Kris Harken

Someone asked how I traveled with Cosby. All our trips together were road trips in my SUV. Mostly in and around the PNW and Canada. He so loved and trusted me, that despite not liking water, he even got into a 17’ kayak and a small pack raft, and one time on my lap in a float tube while I fished. I never took that love and trust for granted, ever.

What great memories you have of Cosby he was obviously a real character. We never forget the Schnauzers who share our life, Max & Millie who crossed the bridge aged 13 are in my screen saver as are our current two 6 year olds Mr. Max and Millie. Yes I still say hello to Max and Meg when their photos appear.
