Miniature Schnauzer,, My last picture of my sweet angel. 11/28/99-5/19/10
Lucky came into our lives in 2000. She fit right in with my other 2 older schnauzers. When I lost them she was right there by my side to comfort my tears. I was not prepared in 2006 to have Lucky diagnosed with a collapsed trachea. They wanted us to put her to sleep, but she was only 6 and so filled with life. I decided to have a stent inserted. There were complications because of the wrong size stent. She then got a stent that fit. When that one started to fall apart she had a stent inserted inside other stent to help keep it together. We were told she was expected to live another 7-9 months. With lots of love she lived a wonderful 4 more years with us.
On May 19, 2010 she crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. I hope you knew we were with you in the end. You were my little angel. I learned from you how to fight to live and to love. Your sweet little kisses were the highlights to my days. I hope you are happy now running and jumping and free from pain and suffering. I wanted to keep you longer but I had to tell myself that was for me and not the best for you. I hope you understand.
I know you are looking down on us. That you are watching your brother Romeo (who misses you terribly) your sisters Julia, Gretchen, and Blossom. We are sending you sweet kisses back to you. Until we meet again.
