Bacon Treats

by Linda Barrette
(McKinney, TX, USA)

This is very simple and is a very good alternative for dogs who have to be on a special diet and cannot eat any commercial treats.

Ingredients:

1-2 slices of bacon
Your dogs current dry food

Method:

Cook the slices of bacon very well. Wrap in paper towel to soak the excess fat.

Put the dry kibbles in a jar and add the bacon strips in the kibbles. Close jar and put in fridge for 24 hours.

The kibbles will have the taste of bacon and you will be able to treat your dog without disturbing his diet. It is suggested not to feed your dog the bacon strips.

THE SAME CAN BE DONE WITH EXTRA SHARP CHEDDAR CHEESE.
