Patriotic Pooches Bogey and Boots

After 12 years with our first miniature schnauzer, we had to put her down. Three months later, and after many lonesome nights without a pet our family brought home Bogey, from a local shelter! Two days later, to our children's surprise, we welcomed Bogey's brother, Boots to our family also, so we could keep them together and be playmates for each other.

Bogey and Boots spent their first July 4th at Grandma and Grandpa Ackland's cabin in Hackensack, MN, on Kid Lake. They loved all the activity and getting to know many more friends and family members.

What a heartwarming story and thankfully these two wonderful dogs found a family with room in their hearts. The love the family gives these guys will be returned thousands of times over.

I lost my mini Jake in February....he was a rescue and a couple of months after he died I adopted Fritz from a local rescue group. I would LOVE to have another but my husband is allergic to dogs and I am lucky to have the one! They are just the best!!!!
