The Rise of Penny-Chan

Meet Penny! This little lady is a precocious seven month old miniature schnauzer and full of love to share. Penny was adopted by a couple looking to fill their lives with some adventure, and their voyage so far has been turbulent and exciting. Penny was such an eager little tot at the pet store, seeking any means of interaction with a human companion – she even built an untiring reputation for untying shoelaces within 10 seconds. As eager as she was to gain attention, she proved to be more eager to receive praise, and has been a charm to nurture into a confident, respectful young lady.

Turbulence hit when Penny first encountered another (large) dog, which unluckily went awry when they were overly excited to play. The devastating incident left poor little Penny with a cracked femur and growth plate, and she was in a stint for six weeks following. As heartbreaking the incident was for her human companions, within the first week Penny’s puppy-powers triumphed and returned a happy, curious, and ever lively little pup. Penny is also happy to report now that without the stint she can run faster than both of her human companions, and her relationship with the other dog has never been better (her wrestling skills and stamina are not to be matched). Say "hi" to your fellow pups for her!
