Our special girly girl Katla-Brit

She was beautiful inside and out. She was sweet, gentle, and so loving. She was my girl.

My husband and I brought her home as a small puppy. In the beginning she was all trouble. lol. She grew into the most wonderful girl. We had never had a Schnauzer and we decided to bring home another after about a year and half. They were the best buddy's ever. Katla was like a "mommy" to Brianna from the start. Even as they aged, you would see Katla grooming Brianna.

A few months before we lost her we decided to take them to the beach for their first experience. It was awesome to see them enjoying the whole experience. I am so glad now that we did that and that I have that memory of our girl running free.

We lost our baby just recently due to Cancer. The hole in my heart is beyond huge. RIP our darling girl.

I feel your pain

As I read your note I could feel your pain. I, too, lost my baby 3 weeks ago. It is still fresh for me and so I can tell you that I totally understand everything you are feeling. No one at the time could comfort me….and I kept hearing that each day will get better. I didn't believe it those first few days. Please trust me it ail get better as each day passes. Someone on this site told me something that still stays with me….it was: "soon your pain will turn to sweet memories." Maybe that will help you as much as it helped me. You and your sweet baby are in my thoughts! So sorry for your loss! Susie

RIP Katla-Brir

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know the ache inside & he hole there.
I also know the wonderful memories, joy & laughter.
We have 2 mini-schnauzers @ this time, Kipper 11 & Heidi 4. I call Kipper my therapy dog because my husband surprised me with him after I became disabled 11 years ago. I dread when he goes to Rainbow Heaven. I love Heidi too.
Please know we support each other on this sight.
You are in my prayers my friend.
