It is with a heavy heart and many tears that I need to inform everyone that Mr. Bud has passed today July 23, 2016 @ 12:05 PM. He died in Evelyn’s arms. It appears that he had a seizure or a stroke.

We will all miss the irreplaceable little guy. He was with us for just over 10 years having first met him on July 8, 2006.

We found him at the Salem, NH rescue league. Some very mean person had kicked him opening up his belly. Surgery was done and he was fixed up. But you would have thought that he would not want to have anything to do with people. When we walked it the greeting room he looked very sad but came right over wiggling his little nubby tail and we fell in love. He went home with us that morning and we enjoyed the best 10 years of our lives together

He was the most loving little guy that you could imagine. As Evelyn always says "you are my handsome guy with the big brown eyes."

He has passed from this life but will always be in our thoughts and hearts. I believe that he is with Grammie and my Mom and I know that they will take great care of him until it is my time to join them at the Rainbow Bridge.

Hi just wanted to say I share your loss having lost our little princess poppie yesterday. She was but 9 and the light in our world. My preys are with Mr bud and with my poppie may they run free together till we all meet again.best wishes Andrew

Missed on Liberty Street

We know how you feel

We lost our beloved Krista in June and we are still missing her so much so we know how you feel and what yu are going through.krista died in my husbands arms too but he now has shingles as it stressed him so much to se her die.

Just knowing of your pains causes me to weep. It just hurts to know how you must feel. When my Tanner died in 2003 I cried so hard that I couldn't catch my breath, so I feel so for you. I dug Tanner's grave on a hill overlooking a stream on our property in Washougal, Washington. When Ms. Kitty passed I placed her beside Tanner because they were such good friends and played together. How can God give you such love for for little pets and allow your heart to be broken when you lose. My only consolation is the knowledge that I'll see them all one day.

Mans best friend

There's only two kinds of schnauzer, proud and aloof or noisy and right smack dab in the middle of everything. I've had both kinds and there are two things they both have in common . . . . they're smart as a whip (even though I could beat mine two out of three at chess) and they love unconditionally. Unfortunately I didn't get to know Mr. Bud, but I know Randy & Eve will hurt for a long time over his loss.

Squirrel! Where?!

So many wonderful memories you have of Mr. Bud. Being rescued was a win-win situation for all. Even though I've only known Mr. Bud for about 8 months, I always looked forward to seeing him and Missy Lady...and you too! Schnauzers are such fun. I know you made every minute count with no regrets "for such a time as this." He blessed you immensely and you blessed him. Miss you a lot Mr. Bud. Surely there are squirrels in heaven for you to chase and entertain your Grams.

Your buddy

So sorry you lost your handsome boy. I am so glad you found him and he you. They are wonderful little family members. Do not understand why anyone would harm these precious almost human friends. Thank you for giving him a good life. Understand your grief. Lost my good boy Joey last year, miss him so. We will see our little buddies again. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Very nice dog

He is a very nice looking dog and looks a lot like my schnauzer that I had until we had to put him to sleep this year on May 4th 2016. It's the saddest thing in the world to lose a dog but I'm glad you rescued him and gave him a good life. It really does suck though that things like seizures and diabetes are hereditary in schnauzers more so than other breeds. My schnauzer had a handful of seizures throughout his 13yr life and we had him on medication for it after it happened the first time. Well thanks for sharing your dog and I wish you well =)
