BECAUSE WE LOVED YOU SO MUCH, WE WATCHED OVER YOU DILIGENTLY TO KEEP YOU SAFE FROM HARM, FROM HUNGER, FROM COLD, AND FROM ALL DISCOMFORTS WE POSSIBLY COULD. BUT, YOU WATCHED OVER ME AND WANDA WITH ALL YOU HAD TO GIVE WHEN YOU WERE WELL.

YOU CAN NEVER BE REPLACED. A LITTLE BIT OF US DIED YESTERDAY WHEN YOU DIED. YOU LOVED ME WHEN NO ONE ELSE DID. YOU LOVED ME NO MATTER WHAT. SOMETIMES, YOU WERE MY ONLY FRIEND, AND THE ONLY ONE TO BRING ME COMFORT. MY PAL AND MY COMPANION. I GAVE YOU EVERYTHING I COULD. YOU DESERVED IT. MY HEART IS BROKEN. YOU WERE THE BEST FRIEND EVER. i know how you feel;both my wife & i consider how would we be doing 10 years from now when considering a dog;the guy(God love him) we have now is a rescue who,according to our veterinarian is 5-6 years old;
but,having said that, our mini rescues prior
were 6+ years old & one was 8+ years old;
the 6+ years old lived another 5+ years,but the 8 year old mini only made it 2 1/2 years before his heart gave out;
the older mini's are much harder to find homes for,and return the rescue with a love that is unrivaled;

Dear Debra,
If I were younger, I would love to have get a Mini Schnauzer puppy! I'm 58 and Snyder had to be carried in and out for his walks during his last days. Even with the nice ramp my husband built for us, it was still a job. I wouldn't change a thing about having had Snyder as my beloved pet, but 15 years from now I don't know if I would be able to care for another pet like I did him. Stormy was a rescue, so his approximate age is about 8 years old, so if he lives to be as old as Snyder, I think I'll still be able to handle the physical care he will require. I might think about getting another Mini Schnauzer that's not a puppy... Thank you for making me think in a direction that I hadn't thought of before today.

so very sorry for your loss! I have been there more than once and I know all to well how your heart hurts! Remember it is always better to love and to have lost than to have never had that love! I don't know the age of your other Schnauzer but in time a new puppy might help him! God Bless!

Always Remembered

We lost our Mister Max and Meg three years ago after thirteen great years with them.Although we have Master Max and Millie now our other two guys are on my screen saver and I still say hello to them every day. I look forward to being with them again over the Rainbow Bridge.

Our Most Beloved Snyder

I agree with Mark Twain, I want to go where the dogs go. Their love is unconditional. Our darling Snyder never complained no matter how bad he felt. He was such a sweetheart. We are missing him so much. Our white Mini Schnauzer, Storny, misses him too and seems to be grieving with us.

Thank you Jackie and others for your kind words. It helps more than you realize for me to be reminded of what a happy, wonderful, loving, comfortable, and safe life Snyder had with us. Our hearts still grieve, but we take comfort in knowing we'll see him again one day. Thanks again, Wanda
