Our Luna Forever

Good-bye my Lunita hermosa. My Guru-Guru. Two days ago (September 29th) my family decided to stop the suffering of Luna due to a long kidney problem that finally led her to an uremia. I'm in deep sorrow and I will be this way for a unknown period of time. My life won't be the same without our little Lunita. But I'm sure our Luna is resting peacefully now, still watching all over of us from Heaven.

She gave me the best years of my life with her playfulness, inexhaustible vitality, sociability, intelligence, loyalty and very funny moments. She taught me real love, real loyalty, real friendship and keeping the energy to live, to enjoy life in small beautiful moments no matter what sicknesses or problems could strike us sometimes.

Luna was a warrior of life till the end, like desiring to stay forever with us, in spite of the pain inside her body. She was 14 years nine months old but looked liked she still had 2 or 3 years old. A true friend and cheerful company. I will miss you for the rest of my life, my Lunita. Thank you for being who you were and forgive our painful moments. Wherever you are now, you're the best.

Doggy Heaven

I am sure our little babies are together free from pain and at peace. Desiel and Luna may be best friends by now. God blessed our lives by letting us share part of our lives with them. My heart goes out for you and your loss.

Precious Luna

So very sorry about your precious Luna. She was so beautiful. It had to be so hard to watch your baby girl be in pain and suffer. We are going through the same heartache as you right now since our sweet Lola left us the same day as your Luna. These little schnauzers are just so special and when they leave they take a part of our heart with them. It is just so hard!

Hoping time and all your wonderful memories help to eventually ease the pain. I know Lola and Luna are watching over us every day. Thinking of you and wishing you peace.

Sweet Luna

Dear Luis,

I am so so sorry to hear of the loss of your beautiful, Luna! I too have a 14 year old schnauzer CHILD, Kip, that is diabetic and two weeks ago she was diagnosed with heart disease. We are heart broken as I don't know what I will do when her time comes.

Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, and may God bring you comfort during this painful time. I have to believe we WILL see them again!

Help with your grieving

I'm truly sorry for your loss. I have gone through it with my Schnauzers and know exactly how you feel. It does get a little better with time I felt some comfort with this little verse that my vet sent me: "grieve not, nor think of me with pain, but laugh and talk of me as if I were beside you. I loved you so, twas Heaven her with you."
I'm saying a prayer for your healing and will be thinking of you and your beautiful Luna. God bless you .. and remember she is running and playing at the bridge FREE OF PAIN.
