My Orry Main

My Orry Main was with us almost 11 years. Orry had a hard life, dealing with kidney failure most of his life, but he never complained. Orry took his medicine, ate his special diet, and had daily IV treatments with no fuss. My Orry passed away last Tuesday. My pain is enormous. Orry, Madeline, my other dog, and I did everything together from meals to daily walks. Orry could walk as far as he used to but I loved those walks. Now, I only see an empty bed, an empty bowel, and an empty leash. I miss him so much.

My heart breaks for you

My miniature schnauzer Gizmo is the sweetest dog you would ever meet and helps with my depression and anxiety but we have to put him down tomorrow cuz we cant afford surgery for his kidney stones. He's only 3 years old and my first dog. I'm an emotional wreck myself even though he's not dead yet but it feels just as bad cuz he's in pain and i can't do a darn thing about it.

I'm deeply sorry for your loss

I know what you're going through right now. My little Luna died of kidney failure too last September. She was 14 years old, only living with one kidney which was almost not working in the end, so my family decided to stop her suffering. It's a very very painful moment knowing that your baby has to go. Sometimes we think our dogs will stay forever in our lives, I used to think like that, but sadly they won't. They don't live enough. I still miss her and will miss her for the rest of my life, specially when I get home and when I'm alone. I send you a big hug. I'm so sorry. Take care.

Hi. What a sweet picture of Orry. I'm so sorry for your loss and for your sadness.

You gave Orry a wonderful life. I don't know if too many people would have had the patience to deal with daily IVs, etc. I'm sure Orry loved you and was grateful to have you in his life!

The downfall of having a pet is thst they leave us too soon. I hope your sadness eases over time, although I know that's easier said than done.
