Miniature Schnauzer Pepper

Is that a Schnauzer under there?

Pepper was one of 42 animals left in below zero temperatures in an abandoned house by their owner. With little food or water and no heat source for 8 days, the animals suffered until a kind neighbor heard dogs barking and called for help. Pepper was so matted, in need of grooming and discolored that his rescuers did not know he was a Miniature Schnauzer. It took a trip to the vet to reveal his true identity. I (Mom) agreed to keep him while his foster rescuer was on vacation as a favor for the weekend. She met me at my house with a crate and Pepper. The rescue volunteer had not told us he was a Schnauzer. All they said was he was quiet and well behaved. Quiet(hardly) and well behaved(mostly). Little did I know that one look and he would be part of our family forever. We had lost our beloved Max, 18 months earlier and were ready to be rescued by this wonderful dog! He travels to work with me, goes on vacation with us and for the most part is a perfect gentleman. I can't imagine life without a Schnauzer in it! We are the ones who were rescued!

Pepper is sooooooooooo cute. I know he is a loving little guy that appreciates his forever home. I work with Schnauzer Love Rescue, and keep failing fostering 101. I now have 7 minis. 3 have been fosters that I adopted. ARGHHHHHH
