Miniature Schnauzer Abby

Abby came into our lives 10 yrs. ago. I knew she was the dog for me right from the get-go. She was so smart, loyal, and full of life. Before she was 6 mo. old she already knew several of my commands!

A couple yrs. ago Abby became blind. This was awful, but she kept on just like a champ. Everyone helped her out and she soon learned her way around the house. Unfortunately she started going down hill about a year after that and ended up with cushings disease. Over the course of about a year she deteriorated to the point where her quality of life was not what it should be and she had so many problems develop. We put her to rest November 31, 2009. I miss her terribly but I know she is in a better place, with her sight back and feeling like a puppy again. I think Abby deserves to win this contest because, like other Schnauzer owners, I think she is/was the best dog EVER!
