Mckenzzie

by kim
(bellevue nebraska)

We had Mckenzzie since the day she was born in my sons room. She had a personality on her. When we would take her to the vet, and as soon as she would walk in, she let everyone know she was there. Our vet just loved her. She could have a conversation with you, she was always up to go on the paper route each morning, she would walk in the apartment complex and started to bark, as to say I'm up, your up, your paper is here. Mckenzzie never had to have a leash on. She would walk right beside you and occasionally see a bunny or a squirrel she would go and get it then come back. She was born on July 22 1999 but we always celebrated her birthday on the 4th of July. We would say she was our little firecracker!

3 yrs ago Mckenzzie started shaking and shivering and we took her to the vets. They ran tests on her and found that her liver levels were up and finally this past April, Mckenzzie passed. We had her cremated and she is with me everyday. I miss and love her so much.

Rainbow Bridge
by: Anonymous

I am so sorry for your loss, they certainly touch a special place in our heart. I lost my Gus a year ago to lymphoma and it is so hard, they are with us just a short time. Thank God that he entrusted you with such a special creature and you will always have those wonderful memories of her until you two meet again at Rainbow Bridge.
