Gnat

King of the House

King of the House

Gnat was my little boy since he was 11 weeks old. He was my best friend, my nurse. He helped me through cancer and so many operations over the 13 years of his wonderful life. He was a joy for me, I never regretted adopting him for one day. My hear is broken, I miss him terribly.

He loved going fishing, swimming and every thing we did. He went every where I went, for 13 years the only time his was left home was when I had a Dr. appointment or was in the hospital. He was literally my shadow. He loved running on our 25 acres and going to the creek for a fresh cold drink of water.

He will be in my heart always. I miss you so my dear sweet puppy Gnat.

Gnat!
by: KG ~ Ebenezer's "mom"

My heart aches for your loss. Here is a poem that I recently found and it speaks for itself.

A Parting Prayer (by Brandy Duckworth 1998)

Dear Lord, please open your gates
and call St. Francis
to come escort this beloved companion
across the Rainbow Bridge.

Assign him to a place of honor,
for he has been a faithful servant
and has always done his best to please me.

Bless the hands that send him to you,
for they are doing so in love and compassion,
freeing him from pain and suffering.

Grant me the strength not to dwell on my loss.
Help me remember the details of his life
with the love he has shown me.
And grant me the courage to honor him
by sharing those memories with others.

Let him remember me as well
and let him know that I will always love him.
And when it's my time to pass over into your paradise,
please allow him to accompany those
who will bring me home.

Thank you, Lord,
for the gift of his companionship
and for the time we've had together.

And thank you, Lord,
for granting me the strength
to give him to you now.

Best Friends
by: Allison

My heart breaks over your loss of your beloved Gnat. I can't begin to imagine the pain. Please know how much he loved you, as you already know your love for him. He will be terribly missed, but will never, ever leave your heart. They wiggle that cold nose into your soul, and rest in peace. Sleep baby Gnat, you are at peace.

Little Gnat
by: KaDee

What a beautiful little Schnauzer! I miss my two Schnauzers, along with a Golden Retriever, German Shepherd and Dalmatian who are awaiting me at the Bridge. I know that Gnat is looking down at you with a big Schnzuer grin. Unfortunately, there is sadness when our little furkids depart this life, but oh, the joy they give us while they are with us on Earth!! Godspeed, Gnat and Schnugs to your Mommy!
