Miniature Schnauzer Finnegan McNeil

Finnegan McNeil is known on Facebook by his thousands of friends as "The Little Toy Schnauzer Service Dog with the Irish Accent".

Finnegan is a two-year-old Toy Schnauzer (officially a mini-Schnauzer) that weighs nine lbs. and is 11 inches tall. He has liver brown hair and chocolate nose, lips and paw pads. He was certified as a service hearing assistant dog in April of 2011 after two years of training.

Finnegan's home town is Panama City Beach, Florida but he is living temporarily in San Francisco, California with his parents, Steve and Julia. Finnegan also has a web site with more photos at LittleToySchnauzers.com.

How cute! I have never before seen a solid brown Schnauzer much less a Toy Schnauzer! And it says that he is a service dog? That takes a special dog with a whole lot of training! What a exceptional Schnnauzer!

Wow! While I have heard of Schnauzers that are service dogs for the handicapped, this is the first one that I have actually seen in a photo!

He looks like a rascal too, judging from his expression!

Service dogs are very special and this one is a Toy Schnauzer to boot! Beautiful brown color with chocolate nose!
