Adorable Tennessee Mountain Max

We gained a new member to our family when we rescued Tennessee Mountain Max from a foster home in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. When Max came to us he was only six months old and a little timid. Within a few days of being here, he realized that we were all about loving him to the fullest and he became a happy go-lucky puppy.
Max is now seventeen months old and truly the baby of the family. We take him almost everywhere we go and he loves the car rides, especially having his head hang out the window. Max has a favorite toy that he absolutely adores and it is a little green rubber dumbbell. It did have a squeaker in it, but Max took it out and constantly still has the dumbbell hanging from his mouth when he is walking around the house and even under his chin when he sleeps.
Max loves people cracker dog snacks and carrots. He loves to be outside playing and going on walks but most of all, he just loves to lie on your lap while you pet him. Max loves to have his tummy rubbed and he loves it when you rub behind his ears.
Max’s favorite place to go is the groomers. He absolutely adores his groomer and he is so happy to get pampered. He loves to take showers and then run all around the house like a crazy puppy to try to dry off and it is the funniest thing to watch him do. Max is always happy and full of energy and he is the best addition to this family.
