Heartworm Prevention

March is Heartworm Prevention Awareness Month. Did you know adult canine heartworms can grow 12 to 14 inches long and continuously receive their nourishment from your dog’s blood? If left untreated this disease is fatal. Heartworm disease is deadly and hundreds of animals die each year because of it and yet… it is completely preventable!

Talk to your vet about this serious yet preventable disease. Also, take a few moments to watch this informative video and be sure to share it with your dog loving friends: Canine Heartworms

Anniversary Nightmare

It's been 4 years since the massive nationwide Pet Food Recall began on March 16. And don't be fooled into thinking it couldn't happen again. Educate yourself on What's really in your dog's food so you can make an informed decision on what is the best food to feed your Miniature Schnauzer.

A Schnauzers Rule Tribute
To all the beloved animals who died needlessly from eating tainted pet food, we have not forgotten you. We still shed tears for you and miss you terribly everyday. You blessed our lives and filled our homes with love and happy times. We will be forever thankful for the times we had together. Until the day comes when we are reunited once again, know that you still live in our hearts.

Miniature Schnauzer Tribute

Since our last newsletter, a Tribute was written to honor the life of a beloved companion who crossed Rainbow bridge. Please take a few moments to read this tribute and post a kind supportive remark to the owners who must miss their dog terribly.

KeepSafe Break-Away Collar
Break-Away Collar

The KeepSafe Break-Away Collar is the only collar that has a patented safety buckle that is designed to protect dogs from collar accidents and can be used securely with a leash.

The KeepSafe Break-Away Collar protects a dog from collar strangulation by using a patented safety buckle that releases in emergency situations, such as when a dog is entangled with an object or another dog. If a dog's KeepSafe Break-Away Collar becomes entangled, sufficient force is supplied to cause the safety buckle to release, freeing the dog from danger and saving it from possible strangulation. After the collar has released, it can be reattached and used again and again.
